Twilight Limousines (the Company) states that Limousine bookings are accepted and services are provided under the following terms and conditions. If you book with Twilight Limousines you accept these terms and conditions in full.

The Hirer accepts responsibility personally for their party and for every member of that party and accepts and agrees to these conditions, which will apply to the hire and to the services provided.
It is the nature of the business that bookings are made in advance and vehicles and staff allocated to each hire. There is no realistic opportunity for the company to obtain alternative bookings when a hire is cancelled and consequently deposits and payments are retained to compensate the company.

Payment

A non-refundable deposit of £100.00 must be made to secure your booking. Bookings are considered to be provisional and subject to cancellation until a deposit has been received and either cash has been paid or money has been cleared by our bank and placed in our account. Credit card payments take 48 hours to process. A written confirmation of the booking will be issued as soon as deposit funds are received. Once a confirmation has been issued the price for the hire will not be changed by the Company.

Payment of the balance of the Hire must be made 28 days prior to the hire date. If payment in full for the Hire has not been received by that date the hire will be cancelled and your deposit will be forfeit. Your deposit will not be refunded.

Any overrun of the time allowed for the Limousine hire, where caused by the hirer or the hirer’s party, must be paid at the rate of £50.00 per hour or part thereof. Payment must be made before the hire is completed in cash.

Cancellation

If a Limousine Hire is cancelled by the hirer, after a deposit has been received and the hire has been confirmed, the deposit will be forfeit and retained by the company. Your deposit will not be refunded.

If a Limousine Hire is cancelled by the hirer, after a payment has been made in full and within the 28 days prior to the hire date, the entire payment will be forfeit and retained by the company. If there are extenuating circumstances, the Company at its sole discretion, on receipt of evidence of the reason for cancellation, may decide to refund part of the payment received for the hire.

In circumstances of adverse weather conditions, which cause a hire to be cancelled on safety grounds, the company will inform the hirer as soon as the situation becomes evident, of the cancellation. The Company will refund the payments made by the hirer, but accepts no other responsibility or liability for any costs either direct or indirect arising from the cancellation.

The vehicles are maintained in good mechanical condition, but inevitably a situation may arise where an unexpected mechanical breakdown forces the company to cancel a Limousine hire. The company will inform the hirer as soon as the situation becomes evident and endeavour to arrange alternative transportation for the hirer’s party. If no suitable replacement vehicle is available the hire will be cancelled and the Company will refund the payments made by the hirer, but accepts no other responsibility or liability for any costs either direct or indirect arising from the cancellation.

Delays

Whereas the vehicles are maintained in a serviceable condition and journeys are arranged in good faith, the company accepts no responsibility for delays caused by traffic conditions, adverse weather, accidents, mechanical breakdown or any other cause outside the control of the Company and accepts no liability for any costs either direct or indirect arising from the delay.

Damage

Damage caused by passengers is not covered by our insurance and the hirer will be required to pay for the repair of any damage or the replacement of broken or stolen items caused by members of their party or by the actions of their party.

We reserve the right to refuse any booking without giving a reason and to terminate any hire where there is unreasonable and rowdy behaviour, or where in our opinion the safety of the passengers, driver or vehicle is at risk.
